Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control Mukesh Kumar Chawla has said that appropriate measures should be taken for recovery of outstanding dues and regular report should be maintained in this regard. Presiding over a meeting, he said that all officers and departmental staff should work hard to achieve the tax targets.

He expressed his satisfaction over the tax collections during July 2017 to December 2017. He expressed the need to accelerate the recovery of the taxes and especially in term of property tax collection. On the occasion Director General ET&NC Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui briefed the minister regarding recovery of the taxes. Secretary Excise and Taxation & Narcotics Control Abdul Haleem Shaikh and Regional Directors attended the meeting.
